Possibly the dirtiest and sketchiest gay bar in all of the united states. Worth the trip.

Grab a drink, shoot some pool, throw some darts, cruise inside then outside. Backyard is ALWAYS busy. Say WOOOOOOOOFFFF to Dale when you get there. Lots of parking never a cover. Don't expect a luxury bar It's down and dirty!
Not a good place
I read the reviews on here and went to Hanks on July 10, 2010, and was disappointed. The outside area has 2 or 3 street lamps making it brighter than daylight and I saw only two people having sex with maybe 15 people watching them. Kinda gross. Waste of time unless you want to contract a disease
Anything goes
I gave it 5 stars because if you want to get laid this is the place to go. If you want to hangout and have fun bar conversation, keep on driving. The bartenders are friendly and know the score. I encourage you to check it out since everyone should experience life on the crzy side every now and again. But, be warned: it is not for the faint of heart!
This is the place to go for sex!(and cheap beer)
I am only 29yo and travel for work all across the country, every older bar I go to people always tell me :you should have been here in the 70's and 80's anything went" well nothing has changed at Hanks! (including the decor) This is the hands down funnest bar I have ever been to! Outside is a sign that reads "this is a gay bar, if homosexuality offends you then you should drink elsewhere) They only serve beer (and wine I think) but everyone is friendly, overly friendly. There are two bathrooms, one for massive orgy sex and a private one for actually using the bathroom. Awesome patio that is large with a lot of hidden places to get a blow job or fuck around. I never left unhappy! I was nervous cause some of the reviews said it was all old guys, and 98% is, but each time I went there were atleast 10 guys 20 to 30 including myslef, and there was always that occasional really hot, supposed str8 guy that came in around 5 or 6 after work for a quick blow job. Great anything goes bar! Loved it!
